This domain, thesocalledme.net, was bought in April of 2007 as a fresh start in the blogging world. I’ve had so many domains and websites, and I was never happy with any of them. I needed something that was right for me. For what I wanted to write about. And so this name came into mind. A friend of mine had a hand in picking it out. And I’m completely happy with it.

Past Experience

I’ve owned several domains. Some of them being: all-she-wrote.net, bleeding-heart.net, and many others I can’t remember. None of them ever stuck with me though. Except for girlseyeview.nu. I had to get a new domain though because I could not afford to renew it for another year. So I bought pjmommy.com. I was happy with it at first. But being a mommy-related domain, I felt like I couldn’t really write about anything other then mommy stuff. So I dropped that one, gave it to a friend, and got this one. And here I shall stay…I hope!

The Inside Deal

I bought the domain from E-Starr, a hosting company I’ve been using for a while. As well as the hosting. So far, I am happy with the service and I’ve had no problems whatsoever. I’ve also used AGN Solutions, which was also a great experience. I’d recommend them both if you’re looking for a great and reliable hosting company.
