Long ago, I used to work as a Virtual Assistant. Well, kinda. I didn’t really have my own business, I just sorta helped Amanda of PJMommy.Com and a few of her friends with their websites and designs (yes, me, small time web designer). Well, as I was doing this I believe I helped out Trisha of Momdot, who, back then, had not even started blogging yet. It was just a little help with her business. But she remembered me when she saw I have been stalking her on her blog. I thought that was awesome. She even blogged about me. I feel so loved now. I was going to thank her in her comments, but seeing as they are kinda broken right now, I thought about it and figured, hey, she blogged me, why not blog her. Yay link love. Thanks Trisha!!

December 1st, 2009Victory is MINE!!
November 16th, 2009I hate Mondays. Mondays are the armpit of the week. My son just got over some constipation and now we have to make a doctor’s appointment for him to get a note so he can go back to school. But on the upside, this entire week got him pooping on the potty for once. Let’s just hope we can keep it that way. Then everyone will be happy and people won’t give me guff about him still wearing pull-ups. ‘Cause we’ll be done with them. And I’ll never have to wipe another poopy ass again!!
You Know You're A Parent When…
November 4th, 2009I took my son to school the other day like I always do and when I got home, I laid down to watch television because I still wasn’t awake yet and I wanted a nap if I could get one in. So, I guess I did fall asleep because I had left the television on channel 12 (PBS) and had woken up to Curious George (the same day, mind you!). It’s the show that he watches right before we leave.
Well, I heard my husband come home and I heard my son walking around in his shoes. So I think, shit! I’m late! When I ran out in the kitchen, still in my PJ’s, I asked my husband why he hadn’t woken me up before he left for work. It wasn’t the weekend, so why was I still asleep. He points at the clock on the microwave… It’s 3:00 pm. They’re just coming home from work and school.
Another motherhood fail!
