Yay! Coupons for free yogurt. How awesome is that? I just started feeding it to my son and he loves it. So I have some coupons (twenty to be exact) that I would like to give away to twenty lucky peoples.

The contest will run from today, April 29th through May 9th. The winner will be announced on Saturday, May 10th. Read More »
I have this friend who for some reason wants to spend massive amounts of money on a MAC instead of a nice and cheap PC with the same features. Well the ones he wants anyway. Can you tell me (mostly him) the pro’s and con’s to owning either computer. Because seriously…financially, he’s better off with a PC.
Yes, I’ve been away from the blog. No I will not apologize for it, like so many do. Actually I don’t think I’ve been away that long to begin with, but I’m to lazy to actually check. Because it doesn’t matter.
I went and bought Juno.
Best movie in the world besides a few others that I own (I can’t think of them right now, but I know I have them). I think the only family member who would actually watch it with me (besides the hubby and that was kinda by force) is my mom because, well, she took me to see it when it first came out. I also went to see The Forbidden Kingdom. Greatest movie! Jackie and Jet together. Awesomeness. It might have been the movie, but I think they’re pretty evenly matched. Only real life and “mano a mano” would tell for sure.
I’ve also done a few things around here, as you can probably tell. Product reviews have been taken off the front page and out of the feed. They have their own blog now. I’ve also cleaned up the sidebar, and I’m working on the pages. You can fish around and notice the changes for yourself. If something is broken, doesn’t work or looks funky, let me know. This theme is still a work in progress because I’m lazy and like to take my sweet old time with things. LOL
Now it’s off to put the baby to bed and watch my late night anime.
Enjoy your weekends!
Just upgraded to 2.5. If anything is broken, let me know.
I was on the search for a missing GBA game when I turned the house upside down looking for a Hello Kitty trash can I thought I still had somewhere so I could throw away all the crap on my desk that may have been hiding the elusive cartridge. I never found the game. Or the trash can. But I did clean out the living room closet and the living room itself. I blame the gaming gods for my rampage of cleanliness. But I guess it’s a good thing because otherwise I don’t think it would have ever gotten done.
Whilst I went through everything, I found papers, books, drawings and tidbits we didn’t even think we had anymore. And Mini Buff got a handful of new matchbox cars the hubby had hidden away in his (no longer) private stash. I also got rid of old papers that the hubby didn’t need anymore, or so he says, and threw away about three boxes of stuff and gave some of my old stuff to Good Will. I mentioned before that I wanted to redecorate the house while we’re still stuck here and make it less of a box. This is my first step. My next stop in cleaning is the bedroom closet. I’m missing a doll I love and I want to find her. I’m betting I won’t find her but at least everything will be clean!
I’ve been thinking about the whole “Green Initiative” lately. I’ve seen moms (through their blogs) start getting into it. I have a brother in law who does it. It sounds interesting to me. But then I see people saying, “Must eat organic only!” or “Healthy FTW!!”. That’s just not me. Yea, I get my veggies and my meats and such. I go through the whole food pyramid. I must be doing something right because I’m not dead yet. But I can’t see myself living the life they’re talking about, with the organic foods and such. I think the only time I eat like that is when I spend a day at the hubby’s parent’s house. Even then I go nuts cause there is never anything decent to drink. I think I would miss my Pepsi and other munchies too much if I were to eat healthier. I’m not a rabbit.
But as far as the money saving and recycling, that I can do with no problem. I just gotta learn to pinch pennies, so to speak. Who knows. I might give the whole “Frugal Living” thing a try. We’ll see how it goes.
