More news of Iran’s brutal crackdown on dissidents — from murders during protests to death sentences and torture. “Two Iranian Protesters Face Charges Punishable by Death,” Iran International, June 30, 2024:
Eight detainees from Iran’s 2022 nationwide uprising following Mahsa Amini’s death in police custody were tried in a Revolutionary Court on Sunday, with some facing charges punishable by death.
The individuals—Nasim Gholami Simiyari, Hamidreza Sahlabadi, Amin Sokhanvar, Ali Harati Mokhtari, Hossein Mohammad Hosseini, Amir Shah-Velayati, Ehsan Ravazjian, and Hossein Ardestani—were tried by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court.
Among them, Gholami Simiyari and Sahlabadi faced charges of “armed rebellion against the Islamic Republic,” which can lead to harsh sentences including the death penalty.
During the court session, Gholami Simiyari denied all charges, stating that her confessions were coerced through pressure and torture by security officers, and prolonged solitary confinement….
Another case in Iran: Mona Bakhtiari, whose 27-year-old brother, Pouya Bakhtiari, was shot in the head by Iran’s police during the 2019 wave of pro-democracy protests, reports that her mother, Nahid Shirpisheh, is being harshly beaten in prison. At least 1,500 people were killed by regime security forces in 2019.
Bakhtiari says that the Ministry of Intelligence summoned her mother two months ago, demanding she confess on camera that her son Pouya was a “troublemaker who intended to shoot at officers.”
Mona Bakhtiari’s father, Manouchehr Bakhtiari, is also suffering in jail. His life is in danger because of an illness for which prison authorities refuse to grant him proper treatment.
Mona, who lost her brother — and with both parents in jail — represents the determination of Iran’s dissidents. She said:
We are ready to be killed, because this life is much worse than death.
Now comes more news, the full implications of which are yet to be revealed:
The uncle and aunt of Pouya Bakhtiari, the young Iranian protester killed during Iran’s 2019 protests, have revealed that their cousin Behrouz Ghadimi was the flight technician of the Iranian president’s chopper that crashed on Sunday, killing Ghadimi and all the officials on… pic.twitter.com/7cfmoivqyj

One point is certain: the family of Pouya Bakhtiari is under scrutiny and will continue to be targeted by the regime. This case also exposes why the brutal Iranian regime is deeply threatened by dissidents. There is only so long that a people will endure the yoke of brutally oppressive regimes. Already, “at least eight people were hanged over trumped-up charges related to the nationwide protests of 2022.”
Iran’s campaign of intimidation and terror isn’t restricted to Iran. Its proxies and thugs carry out the regime’s bidding against dissidents on Western soil as well. Last week, an Iranian dissident managed to escape an assassination attempt at his home near Amsterdam. The regime targeted Siamak Tadayon Tahmasebi on accusations of “leading a ‘terrorist’ ring inside Iran from exile.” The Islamic regime also “linked Tahmasebi to the Israeli secret service.” Iranian journalists outside Iran are also targets.

Why are the Peace Loving Politically Correct People silent about the atrocities being committed by the Iranian Government against its own citizens?
Because Iran wants to destroy Israel and slaughter 7 million Jews.
For the Politically Correct World, any country that wants to destroy Israel and kill Jews must be doing something right.

For what it’s worth, I taught high school in Iran a couple years before the pro-America Shah (dictator) of Iran was deposed by the ayatollahs. Although he was not as tyrannical as the present evil schmucks, it was still a police state. Israel could not have either an embassy or consulate but only a mission building in Teheran. Further, I would note that Iran has a history of violent scumbag dictators since the 16th century Sassanid dynasty. So, even if the ayatollahs are somehow overthrown (unlikely as long as the Obama-ites insist upon and maintain endless negotiations and cocktail parties) don’t expect a bursting forth of democratic governmental processes. The Iranians generally have an authoritarian mindset which does not lend itself to public decision-making (e.g., voting or negotiation or open debate). Independent thinking is not generally held to be a virtue. I am a native born American speaker and writer of English and have a background teaching English composition, essay writing and grammar at Penn State, but when I taught a small class in English to adults in Teheran, one opinionated adult student who didn’t know a colon from a semi-colon from an intestinal colon kept insisting that he knew more about English than I. This know-it-all mindset is quite common there, and is different from self confidence. Their mindset is based on tyrannical attitudes that are consistent with dictatorships that rule by force.

That vicious cruel malicious “mullah tyranny” of Iran is so completely evil that it murders many young women and even children .This is not beyond the limits of evil of that brutal cruel malicious bloodthirsty tyrannical Islamic regime of Iran.
As a former Muslim who revealed an important reality when he wrote “The Islamic republic of Iran exists and operates as what every fundamentalist dreams of, an Islamic state ruled by sharia …” He further exposes that “What followed its establishment was the inevitable consequence and inexorable logic of its Islamic premise; state terrorism, a merciless tyranny.” [1]
Those two words that author used “merciless tyranny” to describe that vicious cruel brutal oppressive Islamic and murderous Islamic tyrannical regime is both appropriate and fitting. Just look at those brutal horrendous malicious murders by the state Islamic police and of so many Iranian who are justly and rightly protesting the severe human rights abuses cruel oppression of that tyrannical Islamic regime.
Indeed, the tyrants of Khamenei and Raisi, now dead, are very guilty and have the blood of many innocent people on their wicked hands.

Way before that justified and righteous revolt started in the year 2022 by the Iranian people against that oppressive and brutally murderous tyrannical Islamic regime of Iran knowledge of just how horrendously cruel vicious and horrifically evil that “mullah tyranny” of Iran actually was and still is.
For example, back in time with President Trump and his administration on the date of 4/22/19 the US Secretary of State ,Michael Pompeo spoke of that brutal and oppressive tyranny which oppresses the people of Iran and said “We will not appease their oppressors as that last administration did .” Pompeo then stated “We will support the Iranian people.”
As far back as on Tuesday, 2/5/ 19 in his second State on the Union a speech President Trump ,wisely, spoke of that Islamic tyranny of Iran as well as those in total power and complete of that tyrannical rogue state. For the President declared “It is a radical regime, they do bad, bad things.”
Moreover, an author of an article on a Freedom Site, Dariush Afshar, had explained the reality of the situation well when he wrote that the “People of Iran who fight for freedom in Iran and abroad put a huge gap and draw a prominent line between Iran and the Islamic regime in Tehran.”
This is sadly and tragically the terrible reality of this Islamic tyrannical regime of Iran. This Islamic tyranny has been well nicknamed “the mullahs regime” in which them mullahs and ayatollahs as well as other fiendish and fanatical Muslims in power have a strong and awful control of the Islamic regime of Iran and through their band of Islamic state “police” , who are called the “Revolutionary Guards “come down hard human rights of the Iranian people .
Therefore, the Iranian people who are trapped and forced to exist in this Islamic tyranny live in terrible fear of the mullahs and others in power in Iran. This is a tragic and sad reminder of the wisdom that was printed in the periodical of Benjamin Franklin which is entitled POOR RICHARDS’ ALMANAC that reads “Those who are feared are also hated.”

It’s very unlikely that many of those brave and courageous Iranians who are protesting against the cruel misogynistic oppressive and murderous tyranny of that brutal and despicable Islamic regime of Iran are aware of the wise Latin saying “Nil carborundum illegitimi ” meaning “Don’t let the bastards grind you down” but those Iranian people are going by the spirit of that old saying by their righteous rebellion against that horrific regime
For those wicked tyrants of that bloody deadly regime really are bastards as Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei along the other ayatollahs and mullahs as well as their Islamic state “police.”
Death for a for a slight infringement of Sharia regarding the proper wearing of her hijab was an horrendous action of evil by them ,therefore they are most despicable malice-filled Muslim villains in power in that tyrannical and oppressive Islamic regime of Iran.
That kind of Misogynist murderous evil has occurred before by the Islamic bands of those thugs who “police” of that “mullah regime” of Iran.
As one example of a teenage girl had been murdered by them in cold blood because they didn’t like her clothing. That specific incited was exposed by a former Revolutionary guard member Reza Kahlili , now living in America in his book A TIME TO BETRAY on page 240.
The people who trapped in and forced to exist in the Islamic dictatorship of Iran might not know about the intellect philosopher John Locke, but his ideas do apply to them. For Mr. Locke taught that any good government has the duty to ensure the security and safety of its citizens. Yet when a tyranny is the people in the tyrannical government do have every natural and ethical right to overthrow that terrible and oppressive tyranny/ government.
Walter Sieruk says
The many arrest and imprisonment of people , repeatedly, who had peacefully protested that “mullah tyranny” of Iran only further exposes the weak ,fearful and intolerant nature of those in power in the oppressive and brutal “mullah regime “ of Iran.
As a former Muslim revealed an important reality when he wrote “The Islamic republic of Iran exists and operates as what every fundamentalist dreams of, an Islamic state ruled by sharia …” He further exposes that “What followed its establishment was the inevitable consequence and inexorable logic of its Islamic premise; state terrorism, a merciless tyranny.” [1]
Furthermore, in the book entitled HOW ISLAM PLANS TO CHANGE THE WORLD, by William Wagner on page 208 the reader is informed that “The creation of the Islamic republic in Iran has had the effect that many from that country have become disillusioned with Islam and are looking to leave Iran. ” This is a point worth pondering.

That horrendously brutal, cruel oppressive malicious and murderous Islamic regime of Iran, denies the Iranian, people their basic natural human rights.
Therefore, the Iranian people are right and righteous by engaging in bitter and strong protests against those cruel malicious and murderous tyrants in power of that cruel and oppressive Sharia based dictatorship of that Islamic regime of Iran.
In other words, those vicious despots of that horrendously horrific Islamic regime have provoked the people excessively too far.
In addition, some of the people who trapped in and forced to exist in the Islamic dictatorship of Iran might not know about the intellect philosopher John Locke, but his ideas do apply to them. The irony is that all this pro-Hamas crap of protests and encampments are promoters for just more of the same Islamic repression. These useful idiots just repeat the same mistakes of the Iranian left, who joyfully joined forces with the Muslim extremists to overthrow the Shah of Iran. The Iranian political left learned the hard way the consequences of believing a free democracy can be birthed with people who want to impose a theocracy on its citizens.
Israel is a free nation and ironically these Western useful idiots think what? Let’s support Muslim extremists because they’ll destroy Israel in favor of what exactly? These useful idiots perception of reality is skewed, somehow they believe Israel is run by colonizers and that the real indigenous people are the Arabs. They think somehow the extermination of the Jews is going to lead to some sort of utopian paradise on Earth. When all they have to do is to look at the end result of the first Middle Eastern 2 state solution of Lebanon and Syria to see how the wonderful promise of separating Christians and Muslims turned into a bloody civil war, where Lebanon is now a failed Muslim majority state!
Aw yes, when will the world wake up to the reality that Islam is a plague to peaceful coexistence? When will people stop being gaslit that Islam can bring about a free, prosperous and politically stable country? The only people who support Hamas in the West are people who have never lived under the repression of a Muslim majority state. Until such supporters of Hamas are forcibly relocated to in live in Iran, Iraq, southern Lebanon under the control of Hezbollah, Afghanistan, the Gaza Strip and other such regions of the world, their skewed perspective of the world will never change!

I’d like to know whether Jimmy Carter EVER, even once, remorsefully admitted that pressuring the Shah of Iran (yes, a “strongman,” but admired by the U.S. State Department as “The Policeman of the Gulf” and never a threat to us nor to the rest of the Middle East, much less to the whole World) to abdicate “because of his human rights violations,” and promoting the Shah’s replacement by the bloody-minded madman Khomeini, was a devastating foreign policy blunder whose deadly curse still threatens us to this day.
Not that I’ve ever heard or read.
When the Shah still held the Peacock Throne, a reporter once asked him, “Your Majesty, why don’t you rule your people with the same gentle hand that the King of Sweden rules the Swedes?” The Shah’s reply: “When my people behave like the Swedes, I will!” And–this says much in the Shah’s favor–the reporter walked safely away, without being arrested on the spot, tortured, and hung.
‘Nuff said!
