When Biden picked Kim Cheatle, who had been on his security detail as VP, to head the Secret Service, the organization’s chief missions became DEI and Biden coverups.
The Secret Service pledged to bring the number of women serving up to 30%. While female agents are valuable in certain settings and for certain protectees, this did not seem to be a good fit with Trump who needed to be quickly pushed down, secured, and protected.

The Secret Service did however get busy covering up multiple attacks by Biden’s dog on its own personnel, including deleting video footage of such an attack.
Dan Bongino, who was a former Secret Service agent, stated that, “I want to repeat, and can absolutely confirm, the USSS Director Kim Cheatle has repeatedly turned down requests for a larger security footprint around President Trump. Despite knowing the threat level is catastrophic.”
Multiple individuals saw the shooter, currently identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, getting into position and climbing on top of a building. While a Secret Service sniper reacted quickly enough once the firing began, by then one person was dead and former President Trump could have also been killed.
There are fundamental questions to be asked here.
The Biden family has a history of crossing personal and governmental interests with the personnel assigned to them, whether it’s medical or protection details, and Biden picked someone who had worked with him to head the Secret Service. Once the Secret Service was tasked with also protecting his political opponent, a major conflict of interest arose, and former President Trump was wounded and nearly killed.
Like the FBI, the Secret Service has been badly broken by years of politicization.
Earlier this year there was a petition from within the Secret Service warning of a crisis within the organization.
The document “flags concerns about ‘a number of recent Secret Service incidents indicative of inadequate training,’ a double standard in disciplinary actions, and a vulnerability ‘to potential insider threats’ that could pose a risk to U.S. national security.”
The risk seems to have arrived.
The Secret Service denied full protection to a former president and party nominee leading to an assassination attempt that nearly succeeded. Was it a massive failure or a near success?
Securing that rooftop ahead of time should have been elementary security.

Agreed. With a rooftop 130 yards (FOX News) from the stage I would think would have been a place to observe from or station SWAT snipers.
BTW: On CNN I noticed they claimed the shooter was 400 yards away. As someone who has owned for years a 400 yard head shot is most difficult, 130 yards, hot so much.
Even with iron sights, the shooter would not have too much difficulty at 130 yards.

There is an obvious very clear 300 feet direct line of sight from atop a building to President Trump.
And the US Secret Service and police and the FBI and others just did not notice it.

Why did THAT not cause a PAUSE in PRESIDENT TRUMP’S speech while THE possibility of a SHOOTER was checked out?? Comer has already “invited” the SS Head for a Meeting. Think she’ll take up the “invite”? When women began to flood the police in my country we travelled to the main city of another state; my husband left my daughter and myself as we wanted to watch a movie at a cinema, and he had to pick us up at 3.30pm right in the middle of the city. But the movie finished at 3.00 and he had no mobile phone, so we had to wait outside of the cinema. While we waited, we saw two patrolling women police directly across the road and although it looked like they were window shopping, it made us feel a little safer although being winter the light was fading.
But 4 young teen males came up and tried to harass us. One tried to grope me, but I smacked his hand away, but another grabbed my daughter from the back while the others circled me.
This, in late afternoon in front of two cops who saw nothing. I was about to start really fighting and kicked off my shoes when my husband rolled up and immediately saw what was happening. He jumped out of the car and pushed two of them over and grabbed the one holding my daughter (who is quite pretty) but the teen would not let go so he broke his arm, and the scream brought the two cops over.
The initial result: they booked him for illegal parking and then took him in handcuffs on a charge of ?grievous bodily harm as the four teens lied their heads off. When we arrived at the station he had just been released with apologies by the senior cop. Female cops? One out of 15 can make it but the rest are trash.
That finished me WRT gender diversity.

Trump needs to surround himself with a security detail composed of former Delta operators. I don’t know what the makeup of his current detail is (aside from Secret Service), but he has to be prepared for a situation where the “security state” is actively working to put him in harm’s way.
Dont forget that Biden DENIED RFK Jr secret service protection! But given the quality, maybe it’s best Trump has his OWN protection!!

The two-sniper detail on the roof just behind Trump had ONE job.
The shooter was between 120 – 150 yards away on a rooftop and was spotted by people ON THE GROUND 50 feet in front of that building. So he was EASY to see. This means Trump’s snipers positioned behind the podium at elevation COULD HAVE SEEN the shooter easily!
All rooftops should have been secured and continually scanned as an additional precaution.
Multiple witnesses were warning ground police about the sniper MINUTES before the first shot at Trump. Why was there no immediate communication between ground police and Trump’s sniper detail to look at the roof of the building indicated?
Professionals would and should have seen the shooter BEFORE the people on the ground.
He needs some one he can trust they didn’t do a good job

I heard a talk delivered by a Secret Service agent a few years ago (since Biden became president) and was surprised by his mediocrity. When he interacted with the audience he didn’t seem to read social cues well, and he mentioned how he wasn’t proud of the fact that during his school days, “I read lots of Cliffs Notes.” Not that this would’ve included him, but his mediocrity somehow made sense of the Secret-Service-Cartagena-prostitution scandal of 2012.
