Walsh had also tweeted, “Has there been any kind of news conference by Trump’s doctors? I just find this weirder every moment.”

Still waiting for confirmation from credible sources beyond Trump on his Truth Social that he was actually hit by a bullet rather than hit by glass or other debris,” Steven Beschloss, a professor at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, tweeted.
The rise of the Ear Truthers has been the most exciting development in lefty discourse yet with BlueAnons analyzing photos and claiming that Trump’s ear was never injured and it was a blood pack and that even if it was, it was by broken glass, not a bullet, and that doctors are staging an ear coverup.
Ear Truthers had all sorts of explanations such as the blood was put on by the Secret Service while removing Trump. They’ve argued that either the ear bled too much or too little considering the caliber of bullet and the graze.
Since sites like Daily Beast, Salon and Slate exist purely to launder the deranged fantasies of a certain clique of upper middle class perpetually online liberals, they’re flirting with the narrative already.

Does any of the Ear Trutherism change anything? Obviously not. But rather than deal with the uncomfortable reality of what happened, Ear Trutherism changes the subject, nibbling away at the details, as conspiracy theories tend to do, to avoid grappling with the larger truths, in the hopes that enough nibbles, enough claims of “this doesn’t look right” can be made to add up to a denial of the truth.

This event will do more to destroy the left’s credibility then anything in recent memory. We all saw this attempt on Trump in great detail and no one in their right mind is confused as to what happened.
There’s plenty of conspiracy theories out there, but this one might be the silliest. It comes from a place of desperation and was predicated by MSM big wigs on the fly at the time of the shooting. Most of the networks quickly dropped this particular narrative, but itchy liberal ears have since ran with it.
A Town Hall article yesterday quoted a “senior Washington Democrat” (that supposedly everyone would recognize) on the condition on anonymity saying, “We are so f***ed right now”.
He stated the photo of Trump, bleeding from his ear while standing and pumping his fist, was so iconoclastic that it will become part of our national history. They’ve resigned themselves to the fact that they’ve just lost the presidency and stated they will now focus on House and Senate races.
Given that, it’s unsurprising that liberal diehards would run with this theory because they so desperately need it to be true.

I think what really happened was the shooter saw Trump go down and then started shooting randomly into the crowd.

Some denials of Trump’s shooting has said Trump himself set it up. That would be quite a performance showing competence worthy of being elected. A knife thrower can place knives all around an assistant that is in a fixed position. Imagine a shooter striking Trump on the ear while Trump is moving his head and that being set up by Trump. In this case, the shooter was not a circus performer or a renowned marksman. What is next? How about a Trump Derangement Vaccine and a lock down until it is developed?
And Trump would have had to convince the shooter to give up his life to make the whole thing look genuine.

We are in dire straits, indeed. On my own website, I am catching it from both sides. The Trump haters are attacking me for pointing out (in response to Jen Psaki) that it was Trump who was almost assassinated, and thus, it is not the Republicans who need to tone down their rhetoric. On the other hand, while admitting that terrible mistakes were made by the USSS, an agency I always admired based on my interactions with them when I was a DEA agent, the conspiracy theorists are attacking me because I refuse to believe that the agents on the ground were in cahoots with the shooter.
