The Veterans Affairs scandals that disgraced the Obama administration never went away. Instead the VA has stonewalled groups like Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) who have been seeking information about wait times for veterans. It’s not that the VA doesn’t have the money to treat vets, but that the money continues to be wasted on radical woke agendas.
After a prolonged battle, Concerned Veterans for America uncovered documents showing that the VA has manipulated wait time numbers to misleadingly portray appointments a month and a half away as having a zero wait time. This is a continuation of the waiting lists scandal under the Obama administration a decade ago that we were told had been successfully resolved.
The Trump administration and a Republican Congress passed the VA Mission Act to allow veterans more access to health care outside the system, but the VA obstructed veterans from getting ‘community care’. Veterans who couldn’t get timely health care were warned against going outside the system and subjected to extra layers of obstruction by the VA bureaucracy.
The VA violated the VA Mission Act and its action likely led to illness and possibly deaths.
A USA Today investigation revealed that “VA administrators are overruling doctors’ judgments and preventing them from sending their patients outside the VA health care system.”
The VA’s goal is to keep veterans from leaving the system to save money.
While the VA can’t seem to care for veterans, it is busy offering transgender procedures that include hormones, pre-op evaluation, and post-op care. The VA handles everything from using the right pronouns to storing sperm and eggs, and even hair removal and fake breasts.
Veterans with cancer are not being treated in a timely manner, but those whose mental problems lead them to think that they’re really women are getting fast tracked to castration.
Chris Beck, a former Navy SEAL who was turned into the poster boy for transgenderism, described being fast-tracked after an hour-long meeting at the VA.
Even while the VA was fighting efforts to track accurate wait times, VA Secretary Denis McDonough announced that he planned to offer castration and other gender mutilation surgeries. McDonough is not a doctor and had not served in the military, he was an Obama aide, part of the administration that was responsible for the original VA wait time scandal.
As a reward, Biden appointed him to head the VA. “Be they veterans of color or LGBTQ+ veterans, our job is to get them all the service and the care that they’ve earned,” McDonough explained his priorities. What about veterans who aren’t members of a minority group? They don’t matter.
McDonough estimated that transgender surgeries might cost as much as $71 million. And he was eager to move forward even at a time when the VA was back to playing musical chairs with medical appointments and putting veterans through hell to save a few thousand here and there.
Within the active duty military health care system known as ‘Tricare’, personnel are being hit with 10% fee increases even as Tricare now covers hormones and offers waivers for “medically necessary gender affirming surgery”. There have been over 250 transgender surgical procedures which have cost millions of dollars and deprived genuinely sick people of care.
It’s not just active duty military personnel at risk of dangerous, unproven and permanently damaging procedures and medications, but also their family members.
In the final year of the Obama administration, the doors were thrown open to “gender affirming care” for vulnerable children and teens from military families resulting in a quadrupling of the numbers of patients: many of them teenage girls who are at the worst risk of being mutilated.
There were 500 children as young as 10 years old who were potentially subjected to indoctrination leading them to dangerous hormones and procedures that could destroy their lives.
Rather than fighting our enemies and healing our troops, the military health care system for both active duty personnel and veterans had been warped into serving woke sexual identity politics.
The Department of Defense even dedicated $1.1 million to studying prostate cancer in transgender ‘women’.
The DOD’s promotion of transgender indoctrination is particularly destructive during a time when active duty personnel and veterans are suffering record rates of suicide and mental illness. Pushing them toward an identity and its associated procedures that have been shown to increase, rather than decrease, symptoms of mental illness and suicide rates is unforgivable.
The Biden administration has made identity politics into its north star and disloyal military brass have put that agenda ahead of warfighting capabilities, military readiness and the welfare of the troops. While there’s no money to provide cancer treatments for veterans at the VA, there’s plenty of money for hormones, fake breasts and transgender counseling sessions.
Veterans may have to wait months for an appointment to treat urgent medical problems, but appointments for transgender counseling are fast tracked as medically necessary. Active duty personnel are being hit with more Tricare fee hikes at a time when military salaries are not keeping up with the inflationary cost of living, but someone has to pay for the hormones.
Biden and his disloyal military brass have betrayed the country at every opportunity. They have lost wars, empowered enemies and undermined America. They have taken the military hostage to promote abortion and they are killing active duty personnel and veterans through their obsession with transgender identity politics.
Our veterans and active duty military personnel deserve the best. Instead they and their families are being treated like guinea pigs for a social experiment being performed on the country.

Great article. My husband retired after 30 years from the USMC and after a short time of refusal to apply for disability benefits (because in his mind he is not disabled) finally applied. They made him feel like a complete loser, and he stopped the process in anger. He finally agreed to start the process again, but unfortunately Biden was president. After DOZENS of doctors appointments to document his combat injuries, he submitted his packet. That was 18 months ago. Since then, he had to RE-VISIT a half dozen doctors for “clarification” plus to to NEW appointments set up through the VA, including driving from Atlanta to Alabama for an eye exam! The process is designed to cause vets to commit suicide, I’m convinced. I’m a Gold Star daughter of Vietnam, and we got nothing from America, but I’m still a patriot, and I’ll still be a patriot long after Joe Biden and his fake doctor wife are in their graves. Trump, 2024. He’s the only individual who has the guts to go against this evil.

Transgender surgery should be defined as removing the genital system completely because that’s what it is.
Hormone treatments benefit the pharmaceutical industry and if these people claim to be the wrong gender then they must already have the same biological condition otherwise they would not know.

Attacking the millions of Veterans through cascades of paperwork, endless delays in care and unionized indifference… possibly being a major factor in spiking the Veteran suicide rates as well as terminal diseases, a tactic that would fall right in line with China’s “unrestricted warfare” doctrine and of course, always below the radar.
Most Vets in the VA system are forced to hire attorneys just to push the paperwork through the VA firewalls or risk becoming homeless as they find their pain relief on the streets..
You can see how effective these tactics of bureaucratic warfare have worked in decimating our public school systems as well as local, state and federal gov’t destroying the civilian realm…. without ever having to fire a shot.

Settle down, there are a number of things more problematic than the tranny issue. These could be quickly solved by immediately removing the top brass the makes the rules. Once that happens, enlistments will rise, those in will re up. We need the U.S. Military, not just leftist failed leaders.
Removing the top brass isn’t a simple thing. Too many layers of powerful bureaucrats interests are involved. Getting rid of all of them would be ideal, but again, not simple. Here in the US we don’t get rid of someone the way Putin just did with Prigozhin (if in fact he was on that plane).

I’m fortunate enough to live many HOURS away from my closest VA hospital (so I’ve never used their “services”), but the horror stories from fellow vets persist. It’s simply unconscionable that those who’ve sacrificed the most, who’ve already had to deal with extreme time delays for treatment, would be placed even further back in the cue so freaks with mental health issues can have them further exacerbated by this demonic administration to celebrate the latest cause celebre.

If sacrifice is a virtue, then it stands to reason that the more you sacrifice the more noble and virtuous you are. You should sacrifice all of your life and everything you’ve got as soon as possible and just die for others and get it over with. Death is the ultimate goal of the code of self-sacrifice.
Any veteran who is expecting something in return for his sacrifice is not being self-sacrificing enough, he is being selfishly self-interested. And selfish self-interest we are all told is immoral. Let the veteran sacrifice himself completely for others and achieve complete virtue in death. I’m fortunate enough to be able to spend time with these vets at my local VFW. I get to see their faces, see their scars internally and externally; missing limbs, missing wives, missing families. You can’t even comprehend their sacrifice and certainly aren’t worthy of it.
As your corporeal clock begins to run down, and timeless eternity comes more into focus, I’m literally praying right now that your death is a long, protracted one…and not for the reasons you might think. I’m hoping that you’re given time. Time to reflect on how little your human intellect has mattered to you or anyone else.

I hope you’re given lots of time to reflect, because I’ve rarely heard someone who’s needed time more. I’ve held the hand of a vet as he was dying, saying he could “feel the flames of Hell lapping at their feet” as he was passing. It’s a personal choice ultimately.

This VA problem cuts close to me. My brother-in law was a combat medic for 3 tours in Vietnam. After returning home and discharged he was diagnosed with cancer, most likely caused by exposure to Agent Orange. He fought the VA for several years trying to get assistance. They continually put off Dr. visits for months and even when he was seen there was little treatment. This went on for some years until, by chance, he was visiting the Vietnam Memorial in DC and ran into a friend from Nam. His friend happened to be working for the VA in Washington and said he might be able to help. Within a month he had an appointment, treatment started and after 3 years he was cancer free. He was convinced, as was I, that that chance encounter was the only reason for his recovery.
But there are so many who don’t have an old war buddy in the VA to help them. Where does all the money go? Why do we have to have NGO’s to get at least some assistance for our veterans?
Where does all the money go? The AVERAGE VA employee makes double what a 100% service-connected Vet is awarded.
GIANT union contracts for marble-tiled floors, the finest furniture, and 2,000 dollar ergonomic chairs for corpulent nail-polishers to sit in as they put you on “hold” or the phone loop.
And most jobs you can’t get fired from.

It’s happened to me twice. The second time was a piece of cake. The first time wasn’t.
On 30 March 1995 I was admitted for surgery for a detaching retina.
Imagine waking up with your eye pulled out. Oddly it didn’t hurt.
I could see twenty people in surgical gowns and masks observing the procedure.
I could hear a voice. “Note how the suture passes through this ligature, [ the room tilts 90° ], ” and exits through this ligature.” As he’s holding my eyeball with one hand, and pushing a threaded needle through it
It didn’t hirt till I was in recovery. Then Hell opened. Details omitted.
That was 31 March 1995, VAMC Miami. The next day, April Fools Day, I was blind. And the next, and next, and next. The operating surgeon declined consultation. His assistant said the problem was my attitude. A few weeks later a VA social worker advised suicide.
Some weeks later as I awoke, I could see orange, no image, just color, accompanied by eye pain. I yelled out, “Is it morning?”
“What do you care?”, replied a voice.
“I see orange!”, I proclaimed.
” We knew you were faking.”, was the reply.
The coterie of abusive nurses denounced me for fakery and I was discharged, holding one of their towels to my face to block the light.
After six months in a darkened room, I regained vision: 20/600, in one eye.
But it corrected to 20/40, and I could legally drive.
I have omitted a mountain of the ugliness the VA has dealt me.
And continues to deal.

Our local DAV (actually, the US HQ) has over a million dollars of brand spanking new cars, specially painted with their colors and logo, sitting in their front parking lot. They’ve been sitting for over a year.. Doesn’t appear they are ever used or moved. Talk about squandering donor monies.
After 9-11, I remember Homeland Security had some new cars parked in a parking lot I used to walk by daily. For years and years I never saw them moved 🙂

Problems aren’t resolved when one simply stops reporting them. That was Obama’s solution.
I worked at the VA during the administration of Bush the Elder. The VA Central Office regarded veterans as an annoyance. The first response for a disability claim was to deny it.
When I requested a copy of my medical records before the millennia, I was informed they had been destroyed in the Great Document Fire of 1974, at the National Personnel Records Center in St Louis.
In 2006, I stumbled upon nprc.gov and discovered my records were not destroyed, but were intact.
I requested a copy. I was informed the records were unavailable for copying as they were being used internally. I rerequested them for a year and a half.
In 2008 I filed a foia request. I had my medical records file and my 201 [ personnel ] file in six days.
Exactly the documentation I needed was not included therein.
Where the documents ever there? Who knows? And I’m just a powerless, voiceless cripple on the way out.
They win again.
But, in other procedures, in other venues, they’ve saved me: a half dozen surgeries for cancers, chemotherapy for leukaemia, and substitution of a sound pig aortic section for a leaky human one. Four years ago they replaced my right lense due to inoperable cataract. No focal length adjustment, but I can drive and place poker.
Many of the kindest, most devoted folks I know work at the VA specifically to help us. I love them.
Every good soldier I’ve known loved and hated the service simultaneously. It’s called loyalty.
It’s all about priorities.
Veterans who have given their all to defend this country? They are not important because too many of them oppose Biden’s policies and might even vote for the other side.
But transgenders? The vast majority vote democrat.
Vote-buying has replaced care for veterans.
WTF is “medically necessary gender affirming surgery”??!! CANCER TREATMENT is medically necessary surgery, as are prosthetic limbs, as is PTSD rehab. Where is the honor among these people? Our vets are treated like they’re decommissioned surplus gear. Not a veteran myself, I still worked in aerospace and defense for the better part of 25 years, and I worked with and for many vets. Their horror stories of VA mistreatment made my hair stand on end. I cannot and would not recommend any youth to serve anymore. Our wars are undeclared (and unconstitutional), they go on forever without real objectives, but they do make alot of Freemasons rich. All at the expense of our (gender-affirmed) youth.
Instead of treating veterans, In Biden’s America VA hospitals are castrating and mutilating them.
if you think that the VA are only wasting money on their latest obsession , you need to read ” art from the swamp ” by bruce cole . it would leave their current money laundering system in the shade . criminals are not only in jail . they also run americas major institutions , the VA being only one of them . you also have the EPA . don’t get me started .!!

This should have been obvious to many of us but the revulsion from the recruitment push for transgenders has obscured much thought as I simply hadn’t considered this!
The NIH and NSF have been funding the transgendering of children since 2005, with funding ramped up between 2015 to 2017!

The gay persecution of Christian Russia and their anti gay stance. The Russian Hoax wasn’t about Trump it was to galvanize the populace. against Russia. Its been Russia this and Russia that. Now we are on a cliff and the gays have control of the button.
The rabbis say that the Torah was the blueprint for the world. That G-d had the Torah beside Him when He created it. When you first come up upon the Sodomites they are rebelling and causing and 4 on 3 war. Thus they stand for rebellion and war blueprint wise. And things are taking shape that way now.
What was the real sin of Sodom? They stop the birth process. Abraham was only promised a child when G-d was on the way to destroy Sodom. Thus the Torah rings true when you dissect the current situation. Abortion is the supreme issue of the left and their power stems from San Fran, where Pelosi, the Queen of Sodom and Gomorrah, had the gavel. And Kamala who only got 2 % in the Democratic primaries was placed in the VP spot. Abortion is a gay issue and people who can’t connect those dots they better not go blind and have to use Braille.
Anyway, time is getting late and they will push the button for they hate Russia and they have no boundaries so you’ve been enlightened and failure to act will be on your ledger on high. For our long-suffering G-d surely must be wondering who is on MY side and where are my warriors?
