Yuck it up, you morons who think it’s cool to try to frame political opponents because your mug shots are coming soon enough. And maybe not just mugshots. You’ve genuinely screwed yourselves. You can’t control what you have unleashed. And you’re celebrating. You shouldn’t.
I know, I know, you can’t imagine that your decision to take out your political opponents by throwing them in jail will bite you in the Asa. But it will. Hard. And you ought to hope it’s only mug shots. I hope it’s only mug shots, not for your sake, but for my country’s sake. You’ve screwed up my country, and it’s not clear that the wounds you caused are not mortal. This is now a country where we lock up political opponents. I just want to get that out there again, and I want you to understand what has changed. This is now a country where we lock up political opponents. And it’s inevitable that very soon, you’re going to realize that you are some people’s political opponents too.
Some people ask me my legal opinion of these frame jobs masquerading as criminal cases. Well, I have no legal opinion of them because these have nothing to do with the law. When not invented out of whole cloth, they consist of inapplicable statutes stretched tighter than Nancy Pelosi’s lifted and Botoxed face to try to encompass perfectly legal activities by people whose real crime is opposing the ruling class. And the accused aggravated their crimes by having succeeded for a time.
Do you think these laws only go one way? Do you think this precedent can’t be used right back against you and yours? There are a lot of state attorney generals and district attorneys out there in red states, and they are going through their statute books. Conservatives, who tend to be doomers, are fretting because none of these red officials have acted yet. But they will act, all in good time. First, slow, then all at once. That is inevitable. That is the logic of this scenario. You see, all the incentives are to prosecute Democrats in red enclaves for things Democrats did far away. The first red AG or DA who does it is going to be a superstar. And then all the others are going to have to follow along lest they be left behind. Some of them won’t want to. Some of them may have some residual attachment to the law as we once knew it. But their red voters do not, and in the words of Rush – the Canadian band, not the radio legend – these Republican officials must conform or be cast out.
What they do in retaliation will have the appearance of law but not the substance. In that way, these prosecutions will be exactly like the ones Trump is currently experiencing. They will echo the nonsense of the Trump indictments. Perhaps I will outline it in more detail in a future column, but suffice it to say that when Anthony Fauci and dozens of other bureaucrats are indicted under Missouri’s RICO law based on a conspiracy to violate the civil rights of the citizens of the Show-Me State via their massive COVID fraud, the indicted ones are really going to hope that the aptly-named Fani – because of what she’s full of – Willis‘s ridiculous indictments have already been tossed out by the federal courts.
Oh, this isn’t right or good or anything I wanted. In fact, I have columns going back years warning you about the new rules you decided to play by. But you didn’t listen. It was inconvenient. It was hard actually having to convince lesser people to give you power, so you’ve decided to steal it. Now, of course, you don’t put it that way. You don’t tell yourself that you’re a fascist. But you are. No, you tell yourself this is a necessary exception. You imagine that Donald Trump is some sort of particular case and that after you frame him, we’re just going to go back to business as usual. You really are stupid, or you think we are. Ron DeSantis will be the next special case because he’s practically Hitler, too. Next, Nikki Haley will be Hitler. Then Tim Scott will need to be indicted to keep him from invading Poland.
You’re not putting this genie back in the bottle. Right now, you don’t want it back in the bottle. You think you’ve stumbled on a shortcut to permanent power. You couldn’t just try to beat Trump in an unrigged election. You decided to toss the law out. And you’re too freaking dumb to realize that the only thing protecting you is the law that you just erased. There was a pretty famous movie about a pretty famous guy who you never learned about at the University of College, where you got your degree in Marxist interpretive dance. He had something pretty insightful to say about the law and its purpose and why you need to uphold it.
But the law got in the way of what you really wanted, so you tossed it out, and now there is no law, and there’s nothing for you to hide behind. So, who protects you? I mean, you don’t have guns. You don’t have training. You can’t even do a push-up. There’s just power now, and all you have is the institutional power that is backed up and enforced mainly by, well, people like the ones you want to oppress. And the guys who Oliver Anthony has been talking about who wear a uniform or carry a badge might kill for you and might die for you for a little while. Still, when you send them to butcher their own brothers and sisters, they’re probably going to rethink the direction they’re shooting.
Oh, that’s crazy talk, you say. All through history, no ruling class that tried to clamp down on the masses has ever been overthrown and its members punished. There was nothing about that in the 1619 stuff you learned about in commie school. The law is still going to protect you, and the institutions will still protect you because they’ll still function because you haven’t torn their guts out. Oh, wait, you have.
A reckoning is coming, and you’re too dumb to know it. I guess it’ll be a surprise. You’ll look up and cry that what’s about to happen to you is wrong and that it’s illegal. But I don’t think the enemy you created is going to care very much.

Actually, that is quite good question – not that this would ever cross his mind. I would think my leftist resident has very little awareness of who J. R. R. Tolkien was, and certainly does not at an level to even believe to have the means of discussion to consider such an statement.
As this problem continues to – have its being – I watch the behaviors and the rantings knowing that this too shall pass. But, not the underlying cause of the symptoms. There is nothing that can happen to me for my not ‘going along to get along’. That surely could be the case with many having to suffer the wrath of evil people. And yes, my resident leftist is an evil person. The root cause is being selfish and lazy while wanting to pose as grande and wonderful.

The main problem children for election fraud–Detroit, Philly, Madison, Phoenix, Atlanta–are still going to be the same problerm.
Giant counting stadiums inside which pallets of ballots with no verifiable chain of custody will still exist. They might even shut all 5 cities down at once again, in order to give themselves more time to cheat. Why not? Were they ever punished for doing so the first time?
Was anyone ever punished for kicking GOP observers out, throwing cardboard over all the windows, and then allowing ACLU democrats to count all the ballots?
We can go one and on, providing examples. No one was punished, nothing was changed.
It is a safe bet the Demoncrats would rather DIE than allow Trump to be elected. They will pull out all the stops, do whatever it takes. And they’ll still have all the same help from all the same millionaires, billionaires, big tech companies etc

Yes. For all the reasons Kurt points out in the above piece, the left cannot allow themselves to lose power. They will lie, cheat, and steal. And they’ll murder if they have to. But they will not under any circumstances allow themselves to lose power. Until the right comes to understand this, and what it means they have to do to actually win, they will remain sidelined, censored, cancelled, and jailed. How long until people start disappearing in the night?

In my opinion, the citizens of Florentine had good reasons to rid themselves of this pest, but we need to remember – there are those still who think otherwise about Savonarola.

I agree Trump may have a First Amendment defense to the Georgia case and the January 6 indictment.
But the First Amendment does not apply to the Florida documents case.
The Democrats did not make Trump take top secret documents out of the White House, put them on a truck and take them to Mara Lago.
Trump has never answered three basis questions about this case: 1) Why did he take those documents? 2) Why did he think he could take those documents? 3) What was he planning to do with those documents?
Trump’s whole life and his career in business and in politics is guided by one basic principle: The rules that apply to everyone else simply to not apply to me. I do what I want when I want to get what I want. I say what I need to say to get what I want and I do not care if it is the truth or not. I do not listen to anyone who tells me I cannot do something. I do what I want and I say what I want to get what I want.
Let’s not forget that Trumps career in politics began and ended with two big lies: 1) Obama was not born in the United States. 2) Vice President Pence had the constitutional authority to not certify the election results on January 6.
I have to admit this principle that has guided Trump’s life has worked well for him up to now. It has made him famous, made him rich (although I do not believe he is as rich as he claims. Why else would refuse to turn over his tax returns for years under pretense that he is being audited, another lie) and got him elected President. Now however it is returning to bite him in the butt.
If voters want someone who literally thinks they are so smart and special that rules and laws that govern other people’s behavior simply do not apply to him that is fine but just be clear that is who you are voting for.
By the way, I believe you can say the same thing about the Clintons. They both think they are so smart and special and the country needs them so much the rules that apply to others simply do not apply to them.
Having said all that, I will NOT vote for Biden. A vote for Biden is a vote for Kamala Harris and there is no way I want her to be President.
But I have to believe there is a candidate not Trump or Biden that can be elected and end the insanity of having to choose between a lying narcissist and a senile cognitively impaired incompetent. I remain hopeful.

I don’t know why this received so many downvotes. I can agree with almost all of it, although I can’t really give an opinion about Trump’s career over his whole life. The documents case really does seem to be a very serious accusation which at least should render him unfit to run for President.
Still, I’m not sure one can say that Trump literally ‘lied’ about Obama’s birth or about the certification of the election. The indications of cheating in the election are very convincing (20M more votes than Obama got either time, just to begin with), and the birth certificate that Obama released was very fishy.
The idea that Trump was/is a Dem plant to ruin the Republicans no longer seems so outrageous to me at this point.
Trump said, years ago, that they were not after him, but after us. He could have retired and enjoyed is life visiting his various friends and properties with his beautiful wife and children. He is the OPPOSITE of the faithless politicians we usually get.
That fact alone secures my unwavering loyalty to him. He gets it, and he is sacrificially devoted to his country in love and gratitude.

The type and substance of what’s happening in recent years, political prosecution, p0rn in schools, discrimination and continuous harassment against whites, and continuous witch hunt against everything western, will need far more than “proportionality”. The promoters of all this malaise will need to be subjected to a root canal treatment for this great country to be great again. It’s not possible to keep the garbage and expect your house will not stink.
The article is optimistic but off base. Should Trump win, if he were to have investigations and more of Democrats, it won’t be for bogus, false accusations that misuse the law and require hateful judges. It would be for actual illegal acts. He would need honest judges, if there are any. There is just no comparison. It would not at all be revenge. Or tit for tat. It would be restoring equal justice.
IMO, if Trump is president again, he will not do much of this despite the legality and morality of doing so.

For 40 years leftists on university and college campuses have shouted the people they don’t like off the stage. Do people on the right do this? No, they don’t. How many examples do we have of right-wingers on a college campus shouting leftists off the stage? I don’t know of any.
Of course, there are exceptions. On January 6th people of the right decided to do what leftists do ALL THE TIME. They acted like Antifa, Black Lives Matter and other leftist groups. They occupied a federal building, which the left does ALL THE TIME. And the reaction was HUGE prison sentences for those involved (and those NOT involved) whereas leftist rioters (who do MUCH more violence) get a slap on the wrist. The two leftist lawyers who threw molotov cocktails into a police car got one year of PROBATION, while Proud Boys who weren’t even at the Jan. 6th rally got 18 YEARS!
I think the left knows that we won’t use the same tactics. We are too “nice” for that. We are more interested in the rule of law than they are.

There is a reason that “US” government agencies have been stocking up on ammunition & weapons when they have never had that function before. We are about to discover that reason when people rebel against the hijacking of TIER government by the Left/socialist/Progressive/Liberal/Democommie/Communists, They have destroyed our ability to have representation IN OUR government OF & FOR the people, & NOW “THEIR demockracy ” has become a government OVER the people.
