All the coolest kids were Boy Scouts back when I was a kid. Now they’re all campfire circle jerkers and the Scout Masters are all gaylords. There’s nothing wrong with being gay but you don’t want your sons to go camping with guys like that. Not if you want their butts to remain intact.

For someone who likes to frequently rail against the notion of “Pedo Joe” and poses himself as a tough guy Savior Of The Children from a theoretical Democratic pederast agenda, I’d say that it’s a pretty rotten look for you to make a joke about child rape and to have yourself a personal har-har about it. I can usually ignore your adolescent vulgarity, but sexual assault and rape of children just isn’t funny man.
But hey, you’ve provided a nice segue into the tsunami in the room here. Mark Tapson can vent all he wants about the supposed “trans lobby” and its alleged destruction of the Boy Scouts, but the real reason for the name change/rebranding is that the Boy Scouts has faced no less than 82,000–that’s right, eighty-two THOUSAND–sexual assault lawsuits from former Scouts and that they’ve gone bankrupt from all the court cases and settlements that they’ve rightfully had to face. It wasn’t the “liberal agenda” or the fractional percentage of people in the U.S. who identify as “trans” who led to this rebranding– it was the organizational bad practice of looking the other way when tens of thousands of young boys were getting sexually assaulted by Scoutmasters, over the course of decades. To make a metaphor here, Mark Tapson’s rant against the “trans lobby” and failure to mention sexual assault claims is maybe akin to two Japanese girlfriends meeting up for lattes and a chat at a cafe nearby the Fukushima power plant in 2011, seeing a tsunami develop in the imminent sea, and then proceeding to just complain about how their coffees taste bitter. Bad journalism at its best, Mark.
In my personal experience with the Boy Scouts, my parents pulled me out of Webelos when they discovered that my Scoutmaster had a big ol’ Stars and Bars battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia hanging in his living room, and decided that they didn’t want their son–descended from Union Army dead–to be raised on Confederate values. I’m lucky that I didn’t have to get diddled like so many others to realize that the BSA had a bad vetting process, often failed to honor its own Pledge, and was ultimately its own undoing.

you are correct about poor vetting for bsa and the catholic church. the left has eroded the poor vetting to a point of not having any oversight with no sexual deviance off-limits for children. i will probably live to see in america.
the married 12 yo pregnant wife of a 50yo man who is seeking a divorce because she is forbidden by her husband to abort their unborn male child. she doesnt want a boy, she wants a girl. a playmate.
it is not uncommon in the middle east to take a child wife. protecting children from the deviance onslaught is key.
I would NEVER allow any of my children to do any kind of overnight. Boys are more vulnerable than girls. It’s mostly men that do the “raping”, or really what is actually grooming, putting to rest that homosexuals are “born that way.”

bet the kids are getting jiggy in camp and meetings. scouts america sounds like an alternative to the youth dance with private tents for youth and adults lasting days. perv paradise.
i believe the separation of boys and girls socially allowed for some needed mystery to the opposite gender. it promoted a respectful approach to the opposite gender.
being a scout i remember camp was a time boys could discuss and learn from other boys, many times an alpha male would lead the way on how to get it done. other times the nerd kid had a better idea. it was a time of mind warping activities with every boy having a seat at the table. nothing but fond memory’s. scouts was my first real adult activity as a youth, teaching me to sit down, be still, and shut up. i learned to use my ears. i also learned compassion, helping other boys to learn.
alternatively, i was normally wild, said whatever came to mind, and never sat still for a moment. going a hundred miles an hour almost manically. because of my large brain i was constantly coming up with scientifically destructive activities with a host of other boys willing to partake, sometimes with injury. scouts changed all that.
i am an eagle scout and would be a diabolical monster if allowed to run free. how fortunate i was taught to be tame. big thanks to the scoutmasters and assistant scoutmasters taking their personal time to ensure a civil future.

I have alrwady contacted the Boy Scouts of America, (I believe the name doesn’t change, officially, until February 2025) asking them if a 68 year old woman who identifies as a six year old boy can join a cub scout troop.
What was the answer?
I haven’t received one yet. Nor did I receivev an answer when I contscted the Cat Fancier’s Association, saying that if men who identifief as women could compete in women’s beauty contests, people who identified as cats could compete in cat shows and I wanted to
I checked and the Girl Scouts remain in place for girls only, at around a million members. Boy Scouts have dropped from 5 million in 1972 to like 750,000 now. Nothing available for boys only. Sad. On the upside, AWANA has 6.4 million members. Nice Christian organization that emphasizes Bible memory verses, prizes and games, and of course cute uniforms. Great alternative for the Christian kids.

This plan could be reversed overnight if the parents of the boys or the boys themselves had the gumption to resign from Boy Scouts of America until its leaders returned the original name to it. But they won’t do it. Genuine Protests of this nature always work when large enough. If it failed to work the scouts themselves could easily start a new boys organization.
The same type of resistance to the mass importation of illegal aliens by the National Government and its mass invasion of illegal aliens by opening the border might have been conducted by Republicans by walking out of the House and Senate and staying out until the policy was reversed.
The effect of 90 percent of Americans refusing to pay taxes until an outlaw action was reversed would reverse it.
When an outlaw government is in power it can be stopped if people simply will not comply with it. Such a government cannot force its lawlessness on its people if its people will not accept it, but there must be enough of them and preferably all of them to make it work. The effect of one troop of Boy Scouts resigning, ten Republicans walking out of the House and Senate, or 500 people refusing to pay taxes would have no weight. All must do it together.
Hat about the parents who don”t like or want the change enrolling their sons in the 4-H clubs? They”re still around.Have thet been infected by transanity?
