Yes it is, yes it is and yes it is.
The SWC is fine by me …..and so are the Chabad charities. Morgan David Adom is fine,
SWC is largely focused on Europe and South America. Perhaps it feels activism around Israel is redundant, given that there other fine charities that advocate for Israel.
Oh my gosh, you don’t spose that the new floating harbor we’re building to rescue Hamas from starvation is instead going to be repurposed to bring all who want to leave the Gaza beach to America, wot?
I could get off on it too
Cannot give you enough thumbs up, I attempt to warn friends, co-workers but usually to no avail.
Isn’t that Daniel Greenfield’s expression? It’s a good one, and not overly used yet.
It’s a waste of one’s tithe (the 10 – 20% of one’s income that goes to charity) to give it to ADL or SWC. Neither of those organizations represents most Jews or is friendly toward Israel. One would be much wiser to contribute to, say, Chabad soup kitchens or other charities (in Moldavia, in Israel, in the U.S., and other places where there is need), or to the Satmar Ladies’ Bikur Cholim (an organization that helps the sick and their families) and other organizations that actually help people rather than build empires. Orthodox communities of even modest size have their own, similar chesed (kindness) organizations. Find them and help them.
I don’t know. I’d lick Scarlett Johansson’s sweat if it were in the right spots. I think I could live off it.
Don’t tell my girlfriend!
