Who’s that defender of Putin?

Don’t think so? It’s much better here than in Putin’s Russia. Yet a couple
named Cox in Indiana had their teenage child removed from their custody
for misgendering his pronouns. Their case is now before the Supreme
Court. Censorship of first amendment rights is entrenched on social media
platforms and on comment boards on conservative websites. There is a
palpable hesitation to protest against the government as per our right to
do so under the Constitution. Because hundreds of thousands of J6
peaceful protestors who did not breach the Capital building observed the
ones who did, kept – in violation of the Constitution – in protracted solitary
confinement before even being indicted.

Are we then to understand that life is so much better for Russians under
Putin these days – when it’s so much worse here now, including soaring
housing and food prices and rampant, out-of-control crime. I don’t think
so – especially regarding individual freedom. Wonder how Vladimir Putin
is enjoying his billion-dollar built home. That’s billion with a B.
