A lot of time has passed since there was even a controversy over Jeremiah Wright’s hateful “God Damn America” rant. Obama survived the controversy by doubling down. And the Democrats have at least one Senate member who’s a Wright fanboy.
A newly-resurfaced video shows Rev. Raphael Warnock defending Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s controversial “God Damn America” sermon, arguing that it was “Christian preaching at its best.”
You know how that worked out.
Now Alana Goodman at the Free Beacon turned up Mandela Barnes, currently running for the Wisconsin Senate, doing much the same thing. Alana does old-fashioned investigative reporting and Wisconsin isn’t Georgia. But I’m not sure how much of a difference this will make.
Mandela Barnes, the Wisconsin Democratic Senate candidate, praised anti-Semitic pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright as “brilliant” after attending a speech in which the controversial preacher accused Israel of “ethnic cleansing” and the United States of committing “war crimes.”
Barnes posted an Instagram photo of himself shaking hands with Wright at a small group dinner in Milwaukee in 2013. “What’s for certain is that the man is brilliant. It was amazing to hear Dr. Jeremiah Wright speak this evening,” Barnes, who was then serving as a state representative, wrote in the caption.
The Simon Wiesenthal Center, an anti-Semitism watchdog group, said Barnes’s embrace of Wright was concerning and part of a larger pattern of political candidates condoning hate speech.
“Rev. Wright has been explicit about his hateful views,” said Rabbi Abraham Cooper, director of global social action for the Simon Wiesenthal Center. “Anyone running for such an important office should denounce this hatred, especially when anti-Semitic hate crimes continue to plague the country.”

He fits their racial/ideological formula of light-skinned racially mixed radical racist candidates who pretend they like white people but aren’t afraid to attack Jews. Don’t forget, Louis Farrakhan has a lot of power in Chicago and it is growing in Wisconsin..
Mandela has laid very low as a Lt. Governor. He has stayed away from controversy as much possible but his big mouth during the Kenosha riots is costing him in the polls now. Law and Order should be the issue that sinks him. Even though Wisconsin’s polls always favor Democrats they only have him down one point behind Senator Johnson, past rigging suggests that he is likely down 5 to 7 points. Unfortunately, with all of the Chicago drug gang thugs operating in Wisconsin’s cities, the Democratic Party has plenty of opportunity for election fraud.
