WP: Sandbox Designs

The Sandbox Designs Competition for WordPressThe dudes at PlainTXT are having a competition for Sandbox designs. I first found out about it at Weblog Tools. I thought this was an awesome idea. I’d like to see what other designers come up with. I’ve been trying to work with this theme and make it something neat to look at for this site, but it has been long in the making. Ever since my first domain, girlseyeview.nu. But now, with the upgrade they did, I think it’s going to be easier to work with. They’ve cleaned it up and stuff. But anyway, back to the competition.

It has it’s own website. I thought that was nifty. There is all kinds of info there: rules, forums, how to submit. Definately check it out. Especially if you would like to or already do work with the Sandbox theme. I’d submit, but I’m having enough trouble making a theme for myself. I don’t think I could come up with one to please the public and earn their usage of it. Good luck to the people that do though. I can’t wait to see what people come up with.

I am very active in the blog community and also here on my own site. This blog uses doFollow to give linkage back to all commenters and I also try to reply to every comment given here, whether it be on the site itself or in an email, or both. Thank you to all who come and visit me. I hope to see you again soon!

  1. Friends of the SDC update And I should mention that we’ve had some encouraging posts about the competition so far. (Parlez-vous français?) The response has been overwhelming positive. I think this is just what the WordPress community needed. (My apologies if I went overboard with the links. Share and share alike. I know I missed some posts.
