Haha. The only reason I don’t play WoW is because I don’t pay for my MMORPGs. I would play on a private server, but I haven’t been able to make connecting to a private server work yet. lol

I haven’t touched it because I have lost some of my friends for YEARS on that!!
I am the biggest nerd ever so I want nothing to do with that game!! I might wind up losing touch with reality haha I’ve SEEN it happen!!

I heard a lot about it but never played it. I wouldn’t even know where to begin. Besides, I would feel awkward not knowing what to do while everybody else around me seems to know what they’re doing lol.

Ha! Don’t feel bad. I fell into the game about a year ago and now I have a 70 resto Shaman who’s got some damn good gear!
You’ll enjoy it, just don’t play too much, I have some friends who play more than they see the outdoors. That’s not healthy. haha.

Because of this post, I decided to download the free trial and checked it out. I am now OFFICIALLY addicted to it. It’s soooo much fun!!!
I even upgraded to the full version and am going to pay the monthly subscription fee for it. It so such a unique game and I love the whole thing about working with other people online to aid in quests.
I found myself playing it all day long on the days I am off work. Then when I am at work or ready to go to bed, I’m already thinking about quests I still have to finish.
This am is definitely soooo addicting. LMAO!

So here’s the funny thing…About a year ago my role-playing, video-gaming, dorky husband dragged me kicking and screaming into WOW and MY first character was a night elf druid. It’s a good place to start. All I wanted was to be able to turn into different animals!!
(And yes, you may notice that I said “first” WOW character. *Sigh*)

Hey…I was reading another on another blog and came across your blog. The name caught my attention. I explain that because this might seem like a strange time to get a post from a total stranger.
I have a 13 year old son that really got addicted to this game. He makes great grades and plays sports but in every spare moment that he had it was consumed with this game. Anyway, after last summer I had to remove him from this game. He was so addicted. After a year away from it it looked at me and said “Mom…I am so happy that you gave me my life back, but I miss it so much”. It was really strange to see my 13 year old get so caught up in something that he gave up his friends, etc. to play with people he did not even know. I know many can play the game and get right off, but many can’t. There is a support group that just began at his school just for this game. I had not idea. I was a parent that was happy to see him happy. I thought, well, I had rather see him be at home than running around the streets. Little did I know that he was addicted.
I just wanted to share. Not preaching. We just went through some hell getting him off this game. He still misses it so much. He misses the people he met.
