Nov06When I Don't Get My Way

I’m not happy. Then again, who is when they don’t get to do what they want. But it all turned out okay and everyone was happy and tired at the end of the day, which resulted in a good nights rest. Don’t know what I’m talking about? Okay, let me explain…

Yesterday, the boys had off of school and work. Some teacher convention or something, so that was nice having them around for the day. Well, we were sitting around the house, not doing much and I was getting bored so I got dressed and was gonna go outside to take some photos of the girls but I was stopped and the hubby asked where I was going. So they got dressed and ready to go outside. But then it was decided that the hubby was going to go do something at work real quick then we could go to the park and do whatever. Ok. Not what I wanted to do, but whatever, he’s getting paid for it.

When we were done and had gotten to the park, the boy played on the playground and we were constantly chasing him because there was a lot of people there, and we didn’t want him getting snatched since he likes to dart off and it takes us a minute to pick him out of a crowd. Yes, I’m a bad parent, go ahead, say it… We stayed there for a while and then went to get dinner to take home at the local Chinese place.

So I didn’t get to do my photos, but at least we had a day together and had fun. I should probably go take them now, but the sun is going down and it’s getting cold. I hate cold weather. But I’ll post them up for all to see when I do them tomorrow. Right now I’m farting around on Facebook because my husband’s friend got me addicted.

Oh yes, the dreaded pictures. It seems like I always get those photo ops snatached away by something or other. And to be honest, it takes me awhile to pick my son out of a crowd too. lol

And thank you for thinking of me this week, it means a lot to have so many people I’ve never “met” care about me.

I saw your comment on SITS about WP. What don’t you like about Blogger, and what’s better about Word Press?

A lot of things. Maybe I’ll write a post about it so I won’t take up a million pages of comment space explaining it.

Aw, sorry you didn’t get to do your photos. That must have been frustrating. At least you are being optimistic, though! You had a nice day together having fun! :)

When we have photo op days here in Oregon which is rare to see the sun I have to do it first thing or it doesn’t happen. But it does sound like you had a nice day anyways and that is what really counts!

  15. My son used to be like that but he’d run from me at the park. Even in PreSchool, the teach had to drag him in kicking and screaming, as soon as they got back in class he’d stand in the window and stare at the playground.
