Tooting My Own Horn!
July 29th, 2008 · Notebook ·
Upon visiting the doctors to get on “the pill”, I found out that I’ve lost a total of ten pounds! I was surprised and happy all at the same time. It would explain why my pants no longer fit. Hehe. But I think I owe it all to one yogurt smoothie an two cereal bars a day plus dinner and walking back and forth from the pre-school. I told my mom all about my unintentional victory, and she wanted to know how I did it, so I told her. She is now on my “plan”.
So I plan to lose another twenty or more pounds. We’ll see how it goes and I’ll be sure to let you all know. ![]()

Great on you losing weight. I’m sure that you will be able to meet your desired weight. It took me about 19mths to get back to pre baby day weight after giving birth to my #2.

It’s amazing what happens when you start eating healthy. My biggest problem is that I work from home, and snacks are always within reach. I don’t keep much unhealthy food around, but even moderately ok things like corn chips and salsa become fattening when you eat a metric ton of them. Sigh.

Congrats on your weight loss. Everybody is different though, so what works for you might not work for your mom.

I have given up going to movies with my daughter she never sits still and always has to go to the bathroom 3 times even if she hasn’t had any liquid.

Good for you! Losing baby weight (or any weight) is a very hard thing to do. Of course, it’s easier to just “keep it” but if you commit and find something that works for you…well…I just think that’s great and want to throw out some support. Keep moving!

Congrats!
I just started working out again, and it’s always a pleasant surprise to find the jeans fitting a little looser.

Wow, congrats on the weight loss. I hope you are not just eating less, but are eating for health as well! Sustained weight loss is only difficult if you are not able to set good habits down. Take your victory and use the momentum to find even better ways to improve your health for the long term. Also remember to enjoy your favorite treats from time to time, just in smaller portions.

Congrats on knocking off a few pounds! Feels great to know you’re making steps forward doesn’t it? Have you ever tried any natural weight loss teas? My sister has had great results from drinking a die tea called WuYi. She lost 13 pounds in one month. It’s worth a shot. Keep your head up and think positive. I’m sure you can reach your goal
