My grandma taught my sister and I to knit when we were kids and I don't think I will ever forget the struggle we had just to make one little string of what could eventually be a whole blanket or whatever. I think I should get those needles out and give it a stab again... no pun intended. I certainly could use the stress relief. Thanks for the read.

I love to knit. I can thank my mom for that. She is the craft queen, well, at least when it comes to fabrics. She quilts, knits, and crochets. The only thing I really caught on to was the knitting, though I have recently started to pick up on crocheting.

I had an unusual childhood for a boy. I spent a lot of time crocheting with my grandmother. I work primarily out of my home now (thanks, internet!), so whenever I get stressed and need to relax, I whip out my basket of yarn and go to town. You should have seen the look my Wife gave me the first time she saw that!

Dont use directions! Goto michaels or goto a local knitting shop once I did I understood.

Like I can explain it to you on my site knitpicker.net of you wanted to email me the way they explained it it might be easier to understand but its really hard.

Try going to utube they may have something as well. But reading from sites they aren't helpful.

I soooo wish I could learn how to knit or crochet! I have always wanted to, but I just can't seem to get it for some reason. I've tried looking at directions on probably a dozen different sites and books, but no go. Oh well...it isn't meant to be, I suppose.
