Throw Mama from a Plane
July 16th, 2007 · Notebook ·
I don’t fly. For several reasons. The main reason being, I don’t wanna die. But if I had to, or was forced to for one reason or another, I’d end up having to bring Mini Buff with me. I honestly don’t know how that would turn out.
But I read this article about a mother and her son being thrown off a plane because her son wouldn’t stop talking. To begin with, the kid was only saying “Bye Bye Plane” after it landed. That’s what got them kicked off. I’m sure once the plane took off again, he would have stopped. The part that bothered me though was that they wanted the mother to drug the little boy to get him to stop. She refused. (Yay!) Then instead of taking her to where she was supposed to go, the plane turned around, went back to the city she got on at, and kicked her off. WTF!! I see absolutely no sense in that.
No mother should be treated that way.
“I was crying, I was upset and I was thinking, ‘What am I going to do? I don’t have anything with me, I don’t have any more diapers for the baby, no juice, no milk,”
They left her stranded. What the hell is with the world today?! And it’s not just this woman. I’m sure the airlines have done it to other people as well. Honestly people. Grow up!!

No more friendly skies, eh? I saw that and I think that woman has a lawsuit in her future. As if traveling with a small child is not stressful enough, they have to pick on the mom.

I know, I was just reading this yesterday. It’s horrifying to think that you and your child could get off a plane … just because your child is being a normal child? I would sue if I were that woman.
Unbelievable.

What the…? If I were the woman that got kicked out, I would definitely sue the flight intendant. Kids doing that is just normal, there is no need to throw them off.

That’s ridiculous. The little boy wasn’t doing anything wrong. What is the world coming to?

I think that that’s simply cruel.

I hope the FA gets fired. She shouldn’t be working with the public and she definitly sounds like she’s on a power trip.

Oh, thank you. I’ll try that out, I’ve been so confused with the commenting thing.

I find that so bizarre as to even question it COULD HAPPEN!!
I mean, kids talk. That’s what they do and sure it can be a royal pain when they talk, but dems de breaks.
Which airline was it do you know? I can’t imagine that happening in Australia! But maybe it does and we just haven’t heard about it.
Hey, by the way, thanks for visiting our little cat and dog blog. Do you have cats and dogs yourself?
Reply: I used to. Not anymore.

That’s totally lame.
Seriously though, she couldn’t control her kid and get him to be quiet?

I can understand some kids being annoying on planes but this situation sounds a little ridiculous. I mean, to turn around and fly back….. come on now.

Whoa, that’s ridiculous. By the way, wouldn’t they have wasted lots of time turning around and dropping off the mum and the baby? What’s the point of that? It’s like asking a dog’s owner to make their dog shut up. It’s a baby, little kids do that. O_O
