How I Plan To Save Some Money
April 28th, 2008 · Product Reviews
As a WAHM, I don’t make a whole lot of money, so I try to find as many ways to save money as I can on stuff like food, clothes, etc. And I’m sure other moms and dads do as well, whether they work or not. So when I found a site called Pinch the Penny, I thought I’d share it with you. It’s called Pinch the Penny. They are a site with the goal of showcasing some of the easiest ways to save money.
Whether you’re paying to much for your phone services or you’re just looking for a coupon or two to save a couple of dollars on whatever you’d like to get, they have it. Just a few minutes searching their site can save you lots in the end. But what I like most is their weekly deals page where you can find the top deals and discounts for the week. That’s usually the first place I hit when I visit the site. They also have services for getting cheaper internet, more affordable credit card services, and price search for comparing store prices with their discount prices.
Pinch the Penny can save you hundreds a week, or even a month. So what are you waiting for? Check it out today!

Good post, thanks for the little link. I work for a company that manages and tracks gift cards and it’s neat to see website that offer different types of online tools. Another tip when trying to save money, try to spend all your gift cards. A lot of them expire; when companies file for bankruptcy it’s unlikely we’ll get to use our cards, and many times we end of losing it. I blogged about these issues on savvywallet.com a few days ago. Consider this: Last year $100B was spent on gift cards and $8B was lost and unredeemed.

As a SAHM, I enjoy saving as much money as possible and this website is very useful. I’ve sadly been browsing it for nearly a half hour already

Thanks for the link. I am going to show it to my wife. We just did some brainstorming a couple months ago and cut our monthly bills down by a couple hundred dollars just by changing our phone company to an internet phone service, changing our health insurance plan, and calling up our cable company to cancel some of our services. Get this, they offered us a package for less money and more stuff just because we threatened to cancel. We are definitely looking for some more ways to save money.
