Out of the Loop
August 25th, 2008 · Notebook ·
Yes, I think I have been. WoW has taken over my interests. Not a bad thing. It’s not my life (yet). Never will be. I’m beginning to get bored with it, so I shouldn’t be around the servers much longer if I stick to the time line I did when I was playing Ragnarok Online.
Not much been going on. An old friend has returned which is kinda nice. Although I am a bit upset with him for never telling me he was taking a break from the online world and just up and left. I missed him though and I am glad to have him around again.
We’re also working on potty training full time since the baby goes back to school next week. He keeps getting serious diaper rashes so he needs to be out of diapers like…now!! It’s not fun for either he or I to deal with so it needs to be fixed. Hopefully it goes quickly. ![]()

I haven’t heard of Ragnarok, but I think i will look into it.
Hope the potty training is going well!! I know it takes a while to get going, but once you’re there, it’s a great accomplishment!!

Who can blame you? I have a lot of friends who do stints with WoW and Ragnarok. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with that.

Potty training is so hard. I babysit a three year old every week, and we’re still having accidents with pee running halfway down her leg, even when I ask her every half hour if she needs to go to the loo. Best of luck!

Jenny,
Your blog looks great. It’s been a while since I’ve been here.
Glad to hear you’re getting bored with WoW. My brother lost himself in it before and caused some huge problems. Ended up having to close his business to get away from the screaming clients.
I started playing Maple Story again, it’s kind of addicting, too. But when the leveling slows down and there are no friends online, it gets boring. Maybe you can play with me some time.

Best of luck with the potty training! Hope it goes well.
I’ve seen a lot of online friends leave to go offline or just disappear without a word. Sometimes it makes me wonder if I should try a break too.

It’s nice to hear that your friend has come back into your life. Good luck with potty training.

I’ve been wanting to get in to WoW but I know I would get sucked in to it! I’ve played too much Heroes of Might and Magic. (that game sucks me in and it’s not even online!)

Hang in there with the potty training. I have 4 children and all of the were 3 or 3 1/2 by the time they were trained.

Good luck with the potty training! I don’t have any children myself, but my sister had four of her own! Potty training can certainly be rough.

When I still played WoW I would take a break every few months, and I told everyone I “quit playing” but a few months later I’d be back on line. The reason I kept taking breaks was because I got bored of it. WoW is a fun game, but like you said, it does get boring after a while.
Good luck with the potty training.
It’s great that your friend is back. In the past I’ve taken several breaks from the internet myself, but later I would regret it because I didn’t mention it to any of my online friends. Sometimes a break is necessary, though.

Woah I’m a total SL addict *sigh* I’m trying to slow down a bit though - organizing all sorts of events and dj scouting, running mall … lol, now I log on to Real Life to take a break . It’s always nice to hear from an old friend again ~ Goodluck with potty training !!!

I never really got into WoW - maybe that’s a good thing, I’d probably get addicted, knowing me, and my school work would suffer.
Good luck with potty training!
