I think that learning your son how to play the guitar on one of those small instruments is the greatest thing you could do. This way you really start his passion for music.

No drums!!! I love the drums but I guess not having a big place would drive me insane slowly. I would get the little one a lesson or two though, it will help in the long run and might keep him interested…

You might want to swing by a few of your local or semi-local pawn shops, you’d be surprised at the good instruments you can find in them sometimes.

I got an aria acoustic years ago for around $10.

$20 is an awesome amount for a guitar as well and you’re right, it probably will help him with his.. attitude. Plus it’ll get him out of your hair for at least a few hours hehe

That is so cute! My son loves music too. Whenever music is on, he always gets up and begins to dance lol. I agree with Melissa, I think it’s great that you bought him a guitar

trust me when i tell you, from experience of both drums and guitar…noise is noise!!!!! but, yes, it is good to nurture their interests. you never know if you have a budding rock star on your hands!!! after all, they may be able to take care of us mommies in our ripe old ages!
