I’m not one of those all knowing, all important mom bloggers. I don’t think I could be even if I tried. But when someone tells me that they refuse to participate in or on anything having to do with my website(s) just because of my domain name, I just have to to throw out a big eat shit!! to that person. Ok, so that’s mean but I’m not a subtle or modest person. I’m not gonna be all, well that’s ok, you don’t have to. I’m gonna tell ‘em, if you don’t like it, gtfo!
What makes a website worthy of attention? It’s content, maybe? What the blogger talks about, perhaps? Not the fucking domain name. Therefore, my domain name, as gay as it is, has nothing to do with my websites, the content of my websites, or what they’re about. I’ve seen some pretty lame domain names on mommy blogs myself, but they’re good blogs. I’m not gonna be a dick and comment on them going, I love your blog but I’m never coming back ’cause your url is retarded.

someone, using the anonymous name, said they noticed no one commented when I made a political post. So, just because someone has a different political party than mine doesn’t mean I can’t express my opinion on my own blog. Plus there are lots of times no one makes a comment. duh
Well, I know that but I’m talking about people who are blatantly leaving comments saying my domain name is ridiculous or offensive and that they won’t comment, join my listing(s), etc. Basically they’re criticizing me for my url. It’s got nothing to do with whether people leave comments or not.
Wow – that sounds pretty wack to me! As far as I’m concerned, people should be able to express their own opinions – especially on such a fluidic media platform as the internet, where one can make the conscious decision to say “Well, I don’t agree, I think I’ll close this window now.”
Oh well, can’t please them all!

Things like this make me question whether or not to take down the comments option on my blog sometimes. People get really nasty cos they know they can do it annonymously. One person told me I’d make a crap mother! The charms of the internet world!
For the record: I like your domain name. Mine has nothing to do with what my blog is about or any other part of my sites. I used to run a Sean Bean site, so that’s where the name came from. When I shut it down I liked the domain name so kept it.
