Cartoons can drive you crazy!

We have a channel called Qubo. I hate it. I really do. They have about five or six shows that they play over, and over, and over all day long! Mini Buff used to watch PBS everyday, with the occasional Thomas or Bob the Builder DVD thrown in here and there when he got bored of Barney or Teletubbies. And I like Arthur and Reading Rainbow along with him. But now, I can’t get it off Qubo. Not even when my shows are on. But I have to admit, it’s nice to watch Lambchop again. But not 5-6 times in the same day. Of the same episode!! Has anyone seen this channel? Do you hate it as much as I do? I really should get cable. Maybe we’d find something me and him could both enjoy. Like cartoon network. Or Sprout. Something other then Qubo!!
I'm Jen, and I'm a twenty-five year old WAHM and freelance web designer. This is my personal weblog and mini online collective. Welcome!

Hi Jenny. I’m the president and GM of qubo. And I’m so sorry to hear you hate us. We just launched as a digital broadcast network in January and are currently is “soft-launch” mode, which means we’re assuming there’s very few viewers out there and don’t want to use all our inventory until we get cable and satellite distribution. You’ll see our schedule expand over time, I promise!

Qubo sucks donkey balls. My 3 year old niece won’t even watch repeats of those crappy shows.
And, I hardly doubt that this is the president of Qubo, because if it was, he would have corrected his mistake.
Are you is soft mode, or in soft mode?

I have cable, & a lot of the channels are just as bad, unless you want to watch Law & Order, it’s on 15 times a day. The other channels are either Mad About You or a whole lot of Spongebob. It seems like every channel just has the same 4 shows, I miss really unique stuff like the “Mary Tyler Moore show”, so I feel your pain about having to watch the same thing over & over.

I’ve never heard of Qubo, but I find myself watching Thomas and The Berenstein Bears on PBS

My son like the Disney channel a lot. He especially likes Jonny and the Sprites. I think is cute, the show reminds me of the Fraggles.

I can’t take kid’s shows on for more than an hour. We don’t get Qubo, but my 2 year old always wants to watch Elmo, anyway.
I wonder if that really was the CEO?

Hi,
I have direct tv and I like what I see on Qubo. I don’t know we haven’t started getting it yet. I know it is a pain to have the same shows over and over. But I think that the good thing with Qubo is that it isn’t like nick jr or the disney channel where everything is about selling new products tied into the shows. It reminds me of HBO families shows. I loved Pecola and Sitting ducks when they were on the Cartoon Network and the only way to see them is on Qubo. I think the programming is cute and innovative.

I’ve never heard of Qubo but the Teletubbies rock! My kids love those guys. Have you seen In the Night Garden with Makka Pakka and Iggle Piggle yet? This is the new Teletubbies for sure!
