A Little Absent? Nevah!!

April 24th, 2008 · Notebook ·

Yes, I’ve been away from the blog. No I will not apologize for it, like so many do. Actually I don’t think I’ve been away that long to begin with, but I’m to lazy to actually check. Because it doesn’t matter.

I went and bought Juno. :) Best movie in the world besides a few others that I own (I can’t think of them right now, but I know I have them). I think the only family member who would actually watch it with me (besides the hubby and that was kinda by force) is my mom because, well, she took me to see it when it first came out. I also went to see The Forbidden Kingdom. Greatest movie! Jackie and Jet together. Awesomeness. It might have been the movie, but I think they’re pretty evenly matched. Only real life and “mano a mano” would tell for sure.

I’ve also done a few things around here, as you can probably tell. Product reviews have been taken off the front page and out of the feed. They have their own blog now. I’ve also cleaned up the sidebar, and I’m working on the pages. You can fish around and notice the changes for yourself. If something is broken, doesn’t work or looks funky, let me know. This theme is still a work in progress because I’m lazy and like to take my sweet old time with things. LOL

Now it’s off to put the baby to bed and watch my late night anime. ;) Enjoy your weekends!

Just upgraded to 2.5. If anything is broken, let me know.

Juno was the last movie I saw in the theatre. I think. When you have kids those brain cells just die. Anyway…I thought it was brilliant. And unfortnuatley, Juno reminds me so much of my youngest daughter. I love the scene where she tells her parents she’s pregnant…and after she leaves her dad is exclaiming about how mad he is at that boy. And then her step mom pats him on the knee and says “well, you *know* it wasn’t his idea.” yeah…lots of the things that happen around here…well, I *know* whose idea it was :-)

I loved Juno also. Took my teenage son and daughter with me. Daughter couldn’t get over the fact that the soundtrack was like all the weird music I listen to. Sad that I’m more “hip” than my kids!

Reply: I liked the music. I even went out and got the soundtrack. HAHA.

Fairly interesting, I’ve never met a blogger who would not apologize for their mini-hiatus. You’re the first! ^_^ I haven’t seen Juno yet, I thought I did but I guess it wasn’t the right one. The Forbidden Kingdom was awesome!! It was so good, i loved the collage of different characters all into one movie.

LOVED Juno. I got lucky on my last flight and it was playing on JetBlue-so I got to see it again. Now I want to see “Saving Sarah Marshall” immature-but I hear it’s funny.

Reply: Actually it’s Forgetting Sarah Marshall. And I’d like to see it too but I’m not spending money to see it in the theatre. It’s not gonna be that good. LOL

I rarely watch movies but I’ve been intending to watch the Forbidden Kingdom. Sounds like a great movie. It’s good to take breaks from blogging once a while. It gives re-newed inspiration. Although, I always feel bad about it, so I tend to apologize. Hahaha.

OK, I was a husband talked into the movie Juno …. BUT, I really liked it too!
I am from Minnesota, so it was fun to see some places I regularly go on the big screen … and the main character was awesome. Well acted and interesting film.

    I love Juno! It’s a great choice of a movie. I’m jealous, I don’t own it yet.

And I don’t think people should apologize for being busy either. I feel the same way, though I rarely actually do anything when I don’t blog xD

  29. DHF said,

I still haven’t seen it, but I have heard great reviews. I will need to rent it sometime soon here.
